TERMS & CONDITIONS


Dear Guest,
Thank you for choosing Misty Haven for your vacation. We hope that you will have a pleasant stay.

Meals:
Meal time.     Breakfast 8.00am to 10.00am
                       Lunch 1.00pm to 2.30pm. 
                       Dinner 7.00pm to 9.30pm. 

         No meals will be prepared after 10pm


All food items are to be provided to the resident staff by the Guests at least 3 hours prior to the respective mealtime. Food cannot be consumed in areas excluding the dinning area, pantry and terrace.

Food being consumed in the bedrooms is strictly prohibited.
Guests are not allowed to prepare meals by themselves

The rules for short stay
Short stays are subjected to very strict Arrival and Departure timelines and guests are kindly requested to adhere to the given conditions. 

Arrivals:      from 12:00pm to (pre-determined time)
Departures: from  9:30am to (pre-determined time).

Any guest staying after said time will have an additional cost of Rs: 3,000/- per hour and after 12 noon it will be charged as a new day fee.

Inventory: 

A complete inventpry file will be available at the Bungalow. The Guest will have 24 hours (if they are staying more than one night) to notify the Owner of any discrepancy.  Then the Owner will consider that the Guest has agreed with the inventory.  The final inventory will be made by the Owner/ Staff, in the Guest’s presence at the end of their stay.

If there is any omission or damage to the inventory the Guest is expected to compensate for it.

Occupancy: 
It is strictly forbidden for more persons than the number specified in the description of the reservation to stay at the Bungalow. The Owner reserves the right to cancel any reservation without any possibility of refund should this occur, even during said stay. The person who is making the reservation should provide their addresses and ID number.

Payment: 

Reservation are considered as confirmed when payment of total invoice is received.  Bank details will be provided and invoice amount should be deposited and receipt should be emailed or faxed at least 3 working days prior to arrival at the bungalow. 

Cancellations: 

All cancellations must be sent to the owner via fax, mail or E-mail and must be confirmed by the owner. One week prior cancellations will not be refunded. 

Interruption of stay: 
If, for whatever reason, the Guest decides to interrupt their stay, they will not be entitled to a refund. The owners also reserve the right to evict guests at any time during their stay in the event of complaints from neighbors, problems with the authorities or because of disturbances or damages caused. No refund will be given in such a case, nor will alternative accommodation be provided.


Accidents, theft, fire etc. 

The owner of the property cannot be held responsible for accidents, theft, fire, etc. except what the insurance of the property covers during guest’s stays. The Bungalow is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Owner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Guest.

Cancellation of reservation by the owner:

Should the Owner cancel a reservation due to an event beyond their control (flood, fire, vandalism etc), the owner agrees to reimburse the total amount paid by the Guest for the rent of the Bungalow. Extras, such as flights, bus transfers etc. will NOT be reimbursed under ANY circumstances. 


Additional RENTAL RULES to be considered during stay: 

  1.  Smoking is NOT allowed inside but  allowed outside.
  2.  Keep the property and all furnishings in good order
  3. For new arrivals clean linen will be provided. There is no daily housekeeping service and daily maid service is not included in the rental rate.  We suggest that the Guest brings towels. The Owner do not permit towels or linen to be taken from the Bungalow.
  4. Room Preparation and toilet cleaning will only be done for new arrivals.
  5. Personal clothes will not be washed.
  6. Usually the main gates will be closed by 10.00pm and open by 6.00am, unless the staff are notified otherwise.
  7. There are 4 bedrooms (preferably two in a room) with attached toilets and a separate driver’s room with an attached toilet. If needed driver’s room could be used as another visitor’s bedroom. In such circumstances drivers are not allowed to stay. Maximum number of drivers are allowed in the said room - 02
  8. All Household items, Electronic items, Equipment, Door/windows, bathrooms, etc. are in usable status. Any defects upon found in them upon departure will cause the Guest to be held liable. 
  9. Electronic items belonging to the premises are to be used with due care and any damage to them should be rectified by the Guest immediately.
  10. The Guest should internally sort out any disagreement regarding the defects of any item used by them but repair or replacement is to be done immediately or the replacement will be done by the Owner and the cost to be settled by the Guest.
  11. BBQ facility could be arranged. Arrangements are to be discussed and a separate service fee will be charged from the Guest.
  12. Pets are not allowed.
  13. Do not intentionally or negligently cause or permit damage to the residential premises. Inform the owner or staff as soon as possible if any damage occurs.
  14. Guests are expected to keep the Bungalow in the best state of cleanliness and to respect the existing ambiance.
  15. Not allow anyone who is lawfully at the premises to breach the terms agreed and the guest is responsible for the conduct or omission of any person lawfully on the premises that results in a breach of this agreement.
  16. Do not cause or permit a nuisance to neighborhood, caretaker/s, owner or other users.
  17. The Owner can enter the property and inspect respective maintenance of the premises, at any reasonable time.
  18. If the Guest causes damage to goods intentionally or unintentionally, the Guest is obliged to compensate for it.
  19. The Guests have no permission to install or remove any fixture within the premises.
  20. Any lock, security device or electronic items at the premises must not be altered, removed or added by the Guest without the consent of the lessor.
  21. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper.  No sanitary products should be flushed at any time.  If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged for damages even at a later stage.
  22. Presently heating facilities are not available within the premises.
  23. Parking within the premises is not permitted (Parking is available outside).
