Hakgala Botanical Garden

Hagkala botanical garden, situated 3km from Misty Haven has an exclusive collection of 10,000 plus plant species. Established in 1861 as an experimentation and promotion of cinchona cultivation in Sri Lanka, it eventually transformed into a garden by 1884, housing a number of orchids and roses. The garden visit is a refreshing experience for the visitors.
